If you’re familiar with cracked dashboards, faded trim panels, and dry rotted weather seals, you’ve seen the consequence of leaving vinyl/rubber/plastic/leather untreated for months. Thankfully, little is needed to keep them from drying out, and protect them from harmful UV rays. If you’d like to maintain your interior yourself, the following will help guide you in the right direction.
Use any microfiber towel for all leather and non-transparent plastic surfaces, such as the recommended Kirkland Signature towels. Most microfiber towels can be used to clean transparent plastics (like infotainment screens and gauge cluster covers), but take caution with the pressure you use and the cleanliness of the towel to avoid scratches.
